Erin Brownett is a Los Angeles-based actor, singer, dancer, and producer. She grew up in Saint Augustine, FL (the nation’s oldest city) and is a graduate of NYU Tisch, where she studied at the Atlantic Acting School, Experimental Theatre Wing, and Stonestreet Studios. She's also a UCB Improv 401 grad.
Erin is currently understudying two roles for the world premiere of a new musical comedy, Kid Gloves. She'll be performing as Darla (a seemingly sweet children’s entertainer who proves to be a ruthless competitor) on Saturday, February 7. Other recent credits include Hairspray and The Prom at Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center, as well as R&H Cinderella and A Tangled Affair at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre.
Erin produces comedy shorts and is a regular on 80 Vineland’s sketch comedy web series Sketch Valley. She has also appeared in numerous short films and was the lead of the narrative podcast Black Box Radio: Serious.
Erin teaches musical theatre to elementary school students and was previously a Studio Tour Guide at Universal Studios Hollywood. She loves reading, sour candy, and hanging out with her two cats- Pete and Chidi.
